Sources and verification
Use official developer announcements, publisher statements, platform documentation and other primary sources whenever possible. Link to relevant sources so readers can check the context. Identify secondary reporting when it is used. Label rumors, leaks and unconfirmed claims clearly; do not present them as established fact.
Dates, platforms and versions
Release information can change. State the applicable date, region, platform, game version or test conditions when they matter. A headline should accurately describe what the article supports. Do not promise unannounced features, guaranteed rewards or release dates that a reliable source has not confirmed.
Hands-on claims and reviews
Only describe a game, product or setting as tested when it has actually been tested. Explain relevant limitations. A sourced overview is not a hands-on review. Clearly identify supplied review copies, sponsorships or other material relationships.
Original work and assisted tools
Publish original, reviewed work. Do not copy or lightly rewrite another publisher’s articles. Any use of writing or research tools must be checked by a human editor for factual accuracy, attribution and usefulness before publication. Generated material must not fabricate interviews, experience, quotations or sources.
Corrections and updates
Correct material errors when verified. For substantive changes, explain the correction or update in the article. An updated date should reflect meaningful review or revision rather than being changed merely to make an old story look new. Report an issue through our contact page, ideally with a link and supporting evidence.
Commercial independence
Advertisements should be distinguishable from editorial content. Sponsored content must be labeled, and affiliate relationships must be disclosed where relevant. Commercial support does not justify misleading claims or an undisclosed recommendation. Read our advertising disclosure.
Respect for readers and creators
Respect copyright, privacy and game age ratings. Do not promote piracy, malicious downloads, stolen accounts or attempts to bypass game security. Use images and other media only with an appropriate license, permission or lawful basis.
